The MCP-200 is a real-time concentration monitor for chemical species that absorb IR radiation.
From the MicroSpec series comes the MCP-200, a concentration monitor for species that absorb IR radiation. This solid state package combines a non-dispersive IR detector and a proprietary optical path design. Engineered to be compact and modular, the MCP-200 excels as both a rugged standalone and an integrated component.
The MicroSpec MCP-200 is used to measure the following chemicals:
IN LIQUID PHASE |
|
IN GAS PHASE | carbon monoxide | CO |
carbon dioxide | CO2 | |
ethylene | C2H4 | |
methane equivalency | CH4 |
The MicroSpec IR Analyzer from Applied Analytics provides you with a stable, real-time moisture reading with 0-50 ppm range and customizable alarm threshold to meet your operational preference. The MicroSpec’s reading is continuously stabilized using Auto Zero, and its solid state NDIR sensor is far more durable than typical instruments with moving parts.
This solid state device has a zero offset feature which removes the need to obtain totally dry (zero H2O) zeroing fluid, thus making the Auto Zero functionality practical and inexpensive without sacrificing accuracy.
The MCP-200 uses a technology known as Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) Photometry. In a ruggedized package, the MCP-200 pairs an NDIR photometer (2-10 micron) using a tungsten black body source with a proprietary-design optical flow cell. The path length of the flow cell is specialized per measurement application.
The MCP-200 uses serial communication between the detector and the HMI.
Note: All performance specifications are subject to the assumption that the sample conditioning system and unit installation are approved by Applied Analytics. For any other arrangement, please inquire directly with Sales.
