Sales Engineer

As an Application Engineer, reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for revenue growth and providing support for the domestic and international sales of our process & environmental analyzers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities, but not limited to:
Sales:
- Collaborate with sales management to achieve strategic sales goals and tactical objectives
- Solicit potential domestic and international sales targets to drive sizable growth
- Drive sales of products and services by communicating and traveling to customer sites
- Grow business through our existing customer base by maintaining customer relations
- Interface to assess customer needs and communicate our company's ability to meet their requirements
- Assist in the development of creating an RFQ and other proposals to customers
Marketing:
- Generate weekly sales forecasts in Salesforce.com and communicate activities to management
- Serve as front line contact for customer interactions throughout and after the sales process
- Team with inside sales developing lead generation
- Assist in developing new presentations to customers to effectively communicate product value
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, representatives and distributors
- Drive long-term business development
Promotion:
- Travel to make sales calls, train representatives, distributors and attend trade shows
- Assist management in developing new advertising promotions and marketing materials
- Plan and execute group demonstrations for new and existing customers
Qualifications and Requirements:
- B.S. degree in Chemical, Material Engineering or similar experience necessary
- Knowledge of the Chemical Process Industry preferred
- 3-5 years of related sales experience, nice to have
- Knowledge of Salesforce and other CRM databases
- Solid problem solving, presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Must have a strong initiative and a positive attitude
- Ability to connect in a cross-cultural engagement
- Self-driven and goal-driven
- Strong closing skills
Field Service Engineer – Up to 50% Travel

Our fast-paced engineering and manufacturing company is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our growing team. The focus of our company is the design, manufacturing, and support of our chemical process analyzer systems, based on spectroscopic principles. We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to add to our staff so that we may continue to effectively meet the needs of our growing client base.
We are seeking an exceptional and self- motivated individual who is capable of working effectively as both an individual contributor and team player in a global, customer-oriented work environment.
An ideal candidate is someone who is excited to learn new things and work with multiple departments in accomplishing goals. Initial employment involves product training at our facility where you will develop the skills and tools necessary to understand, troubleshoot, and service our equipment.
- Test and calibrate analytical equipment in house
- Perform Factory Acceptance Tests of analytical equipment with customers in house
- Perform Site Acceptance Tests of analytical equipment at customer work site
- Perform Calibration and start-up of analytical equipment at customer work site
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships
- Provide field service reports from site visits
- Maintain and submit accurate expense reports
- Provide technical and troubleshooting support of products installed at customer sites, via phone and email, analyzing logs and data while providing troubleshooting and repair solutions
- Interface with engineers and sales to resolve problems as needed
- Work as a team member in challenging environment
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
- Ability to complete position training, follow standard safety codes and practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. & transport equipment & tools in excess of 300 lbs
- Valid Driver License in good standing
- U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required
- Valid passport with flexibility for domestic and international travel
- May be required to pass security clearance investigation
- Must be willing and able to travel extensively (50%), both domestically and internationally
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Electrical Engineering required
- Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- 1-3 years of work related experience preferred
Insides Technical Sales/Marketing

We are looking for an engineer to support the sales/marketing team.
Responsibilities:
- Identify/develop/validate new applications by reviewing plant PIDs/competitor literature.
- Provide technical guidance to marketing department for generation of sales/marketing literature.
- Assist sales department with answers to technical queries on bids.
- Provide technical sales training to distributors/reps.
- Prepare technical proposals/quotations for customers.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering / preference is chemical
- Knowledge of spectroscopy, unit operations, strong writing & communication
- 1-3 years related experience
