Applications

The MicroSpec MCP-200 is used to measure the following chemicals:

  • carbon monoxide | CO
  • carbon dioxide | CO2
  • ethylene | C2H4
  • methane equivalency | CH4
  • water | H2O

Technology

The MCP-200 uses a technology known as Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) Photometry. In a ruggedized package, the MCP-200 pairs an NDIR photometer (2-10 micron) using a tungsten black body source with a proprietary-design optical flow cell. The path length of the flow cell is specialized per measurement application.

The MCP-200 uses serial communication between the detector and the HMI.
